This work questions the position and symbolism of couples in society and in various geographical and social contexts, particularly in the Caribbean. It is part of the “Cuba en France – Été 2016” initiative, which encourages cooperation within the Caribbean contemporary dance community.

As part of the writing residency exchange program, poet and writer Beonard Kervens Monteau completed a residency in Montreal to work on his latest book. Monteau, who is also an actor and a slam poet, was a member of the Dram’Art theatre company for several years.
The evening featured a reading of his work accompanied by dance, as a way of engaging with his universe and exploring another way of recording the world.
