CREATIVE FUND FOR DOCUMENTARY CHOREOGRAPHY

The creative found for documentary choregraphye, initiated by RD Créations, is much more than a simple financing tool: it is a laboratory for Afro-contemporary choreographic research. By supporting this fund, partners and patrons contribute to an inclusive and dynamic culture, giving voice to stories that are too often ignored.

The projects supported, such as Symphonie de cœurs (cardiovascular health), MWON'D (climate change), SCÒ (postural health) and BOW'T TRAIL (decolonization of the imaginary), illustrate the tangible impact of this fund on society. “Chita nan dife” in Haitian Creole means “sitting in the fire”. More concretely, it is a call to the unifying, transforming and elevating force of fire. This expression is also the title of the last chapter of the work BOW'T-Tio'tia:ke.
