Since 2015, Rhodnie Désir has been creating the BOW'T TRAIL series of works in collaboration with several national and international Afrodescendant artists and musicians as part of the BOW'T TRAIL itinerary. A journey of memory tracing the cultural and social heritage of the slave trade in the Americas, she led a historical, anthropological, social and artistic quest that resulted in the creation of 8 new works, all anchored in the BOW'T (2013) canvas. From Martinique to Haiti, Brazil, Mexico, Canada and the United States, a vast legacy of 16 choreographic-documentary products are now available to the general public.
